BDS is an undergraduate program that combines in-depth medical knowledge with hands-on clinical training. It equips students to diagnose, treat, and enhance oral health with expertise.
Our college is duly affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and is sanctioned by the Karnataka Government. We have also been recognized by the Dental Council of India and the Government of India, New Delhi.
Course duration – 5 years (4 + 1-year mandatory internship)
Class intake – 50 students
Fee structure – (client input) – optional
Eligibility criteria – We follow as per the RGHUS and DCI norms.
- Applicants should have completed their 12th (10+2) or an equivalent exam with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised institution. (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates from Karnataka only)
- Applicants should have completed their 10+2 with mandatory coursework in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
- Applicants should have completed 17 years of age at admission, or must turn 17 on or before 31st December of the year they apply.
- For non-Karnataka applicants – Any applicant from outside the region must visit the Registrar at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, along with the specified documents, to obtain the eligibility certificate for admission to the BDS program
- Photostat copies of marks of the qualifying examination
- Date of Birth certificate as recorded in the school / College
- Challan of Rs. 2000/- (BDS)
Required Attendance – 75% in theory and 75% in practical/clinical for every year
